ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IN THE PRODUCTION SECTION OF PT. KARTIKA CORE SEJATI BANDUNG CITY

PT Kartika Inti Sejati is a Bakery Confectionary-based food company that was founded in 2007, which is a member of the company group of PT Kartikasari. Currently, PT Kartika Inti Sejati is the owner of the private brand Kartika Toast and is a producer for several Bakemart and Paroti brand products. Currently, the types of products produced by PT. Kartika Inti Sejati, namely: 1) bagelen; 2) almond cookies; 3) crispy toast; 4) toast bread butter; 5) soes; 6) chocolate sticks. From the results of the pre-survey, it can be seen the phenomena that occur, such as: 1). Leadership that has not been implemented effectively 2). Work Discipline that all employees have not complied with 3). Employee performance that is still not in accordance with the production target. In this research, the analytical method used is descriptive and associative analysis. For the data collection method used the questionnaire method. The sample used as many as 53 people, namely some employees of PT Kartika Inti Sejati Bandung City obtained using the saturated sampling method or census. The results of this study indicate that: 1). The value of the leadership variable score is 187.3 which is categorized as good. 2). The score for the Work Discipline Variable is 208 which is categorized as good. 3). The score for the Performance Variable is 201.25 which is categorized as good. 4). The regression equation from this study is Y = 1.751 + 0.184X1 + 0.011X2, from the equation it can be concluded a). That both the Leadership variable and the Work Discipline variable both have a positive influence on the employee performance variable of PT Kartika Inti Sejati Bandung City. b). Performance is worth 1.751 without the influence of Leadership and Work Discipline. c). If Leadership increases by 1 unit it will affect Performance by 0.184 and if Work Discipline increases by 1 unit it will affect Performance by 0.011. 5). The magnitude of the influence of Leadership on Performance is 0.0167 or 1.67% and the magnitude of the influence of Work Discipline on Performance is 0.740 or 74%. 6). The magnitude of the influence of Leadership and Work Discipline simultaneously on the performance of employees of PT Kartika Inti Sejati Bandung City is 0.756 or 75.6%.
