KAJIAN USER INTERFACE UNTUK SISTEM INFORMASI AKADEMIK PASIM MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN KANSEI ENGINEERING
Abstract
Universities as higher education institutions must be managed professionally and oriented to customer satisfaction (Customer Satisfaction), so that new breakthroughs are needed along with the development of information technology. One of the customer satisfaction is being able to use the Academic Information System facilities comfortably, pleasantly and not boringly. Kansei Engineering is a technology that involves the user's emotions to get design elements that have a strong influence on the Academic Information System user interface design concept. The methodology used is the Kansei Engineering Type I methodology, KEPack, in which there are stages of the research process to produce new products that are in accordance with the user's emotional concept. The new product is in the form of a proposed matrix of the Academic Information System user interface display. The process of this study uses 20 Kansei Word, 14 specimens displaying the College Academic Information System user interface, and involving 315 student participants. The results of the questionnaire from the participants were then processed using multivariate statistical analysis namely Coefficient Correlation Analysis, Principal Component Analysis, Factor Analysis and Partial Least Square analysis. The final result of this study is the matrix of design elements that influence the user interface design planning in the form of two recommendations for displaying the user interface of the Academic Information System with the concept of selected emotions namely "Menarik" and a combination of "Menarik" with "Dinamis".
