Abstract

Provision of raw materials is important for a company including PT. Marvel Food Industry. However, the fluctuating amount of raw material use makes it difficult to predict the use of raw materials so
that there is still a mismatch between the planned amount of raw material needs and the actual amount of use. The results of this study are to classify groups of each raw material such as group A
consisting of 8 items, group B consisting of 6 items, and group C consisting of 4 items. The results of the forecasting calculation use the single moving average method, taking into account the error rate
of the method. Economic order quantity calculation is more efficient with 11 orders in a year.
