PENGARUH KOMPETENSI DAN MOTIVASI TERHADAP KINERJA PADA PNS DINAS PERDAGANGAN KOPERASI UMKM DAN PERINDUSTRIAN (DISDAGKOPERIN) KOTA CIMAHI JAWA BARAT
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to see the effect of Competence and Motivation on Performance in Civil Servants at the Department of Trade, Cooperatives, SMEs and
Industry (DISDAGKOPERIN) Cimahi City, West Java. The population in this study were civil servants at the Department of Trade, Cooperatives, medium-low business and
Industry (DISDAGKOPERIN) Cimahi City, West Java. With a sample of the entire population of DISDAGKOPERIN civil servants, Cimahi City, West Java, as many as 94.
The sampling technique used was saturated sample. The research design used descriptive and associative methods. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the average
score of the Competency variable (X1) was 317.6 categorized as "enough", and the Motivation variable (X2) was 318.7 categorized as "enough", and the Performance
variable (Y) was 320, 2 is categorized as “enough”. For associative analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the calculation of the partial effect can
be seen that the competence variable on performance is 67.9% and the motivation variable on performance is 24.3%. The results of the calculation of the value of the influence of the variable Competence and Motivation on Performance simultaneously can be seen that the value of R square (R2) is 0.709, then the coefficient of determination (KD) is 0.709 x 100% = 70.9%, this means that the influence of Competence and Motivation on
Performance is of 70.9%, while the remaining 29.1% was influenced by other factors that were not involved in this study.
